In September 1999, the vision for the church was publicly cast from the departure of Union

Grove Baptist Church of Union City, Georgia with Reverend Michael A. Pace as the Senior

Pastor. The name “ Lordship of Christ Christian Church, Inc.” reflects the reality that the church

is the possession of Jesus Christ, and the identity of the saints is in Christ. The three-fold

declaration is that Jesus is Lord, He is Christ and Christians belong to Him.

Over the years, a group of believers worshiped under the banner of Lordship of Christ Christian

Church at Campbell Elementary School and Landmark Christian Academy in Fairburn, Georgia.

In September 2002, the Lordship family was blessed to purchase property located at 278 Lees

Lake Road in Fayetteville, Georgia, which is now the primary worship center.

Lordship navigated through challenging times under the steadfast leadership of our dearly

beloved Pastor Michael A. Pace who transitioned to glory on February 12, 2023. In July 2024,

Dr. John D. Menefee Jr. was selected as the Interim Pastor of Lordship of Christ Christian

Church. Dr. Menefee’s faithful leadership brings the fullness of Lordship’s mission and vision

into manifestation.
